What is Jesmonite?

We recently came across a fantastic material called Jesmonite. This is the brand name for a plaster and resin mixture which can be poured into moulds to create so many different items, from jewellery to home accessories. To create patterns, colours can be added to the mix or other items such as paper, transfers, and gold leaf. One popular technique is terrazzo, where small coloured chips are added to the mix to give a speckled effect. We have carried out a few experiments and below are some of our latest creations!
