Private group printing workshops

Are you looking to celebrate a special occasion? We can host a workshop for your special event, birthday, wedding, or baby shower.

 

Numbers and space

We offer private group workshops in London only. The minimum number is 5 people to run a workshop. We can fit 5 people in our Chiswick studio or for 6 or more, we need to agree on another venue. There are a few venues we regularly use in Chiswick and Hammersmith, or you can source one yourself.

Please note our workshops are for 16+ yrs only (or 13yrs + if accompanied by an adult)

In order to run a successful workshop in your space, please consider the following requirements:

  • A table of 180cm can fit 2 people. This is because each person will have their fabric/stationery in front of them plus space around it for a paint tray and blocks. So for 10 people you'd need 5 tables (we bring plastic covers).
  • One other table required for the tutor to use for the demonstration and samples.
  • We use water-based paint so think about floor finishes 
  • A place to stop outside to unload the equipment (it is a couple of large boxes). Any paid for parking is added to the cost.

Dates

Private workshops are only available Monday to Friday, during the day or evening. 

Time

40 minutes before and after the time of the workshop is required for set up and tidy up. Workshop times vary as they can be tailored to your requirements but 2hrs is the ideal minimum. We can create a longer bespoke workshop for you - just ask!

If you need a shorter workshop of 1hr, we can reduce our scope to the essentials.

Costs

Our venues are no extra cost, but anywhere you arrange will be at your own cost.

2 HOURS CARD PRINTING
Includes gift tags x2, greeting cards x4, notebook x1.
£30 per person. Minimum number: 5 people.

2.5 HOURS CARD & GIFT BAG PRINTING
Includes greeting cards x4, mini cotton gift bag x1, drawstring cotton gift bag x1.
£35 per person. Minimum number: 5 people. 

3 HOURS TEXTILE PRINTING
Learn how to design a pattern and apply it to a number of items. Options for cotton textile pieces: apron, tea towel, maxi tote bag, cushion cover, drawstring gift bag and zip bag. 
Minimum number: 5 people.

The base price is £50 per person. The final workshop price is calculated on the items chosen.

Deposit, terms & conditions

There are two options for private workshops. Either you can pay on behalf of your guests, or you can ask them all to pay individually.

If they are paying individually, you will receive an online link to send to your guests for platform Ticket Tailor. This is where they can review all the event information and pay us directly. We will let you know who has paid.
